There has been a lot of media attention recently about the opposition of organisations like Stichting de Noordzee and The Plastic Soup Foundation to the use of plastic scrub particles in standard care products like toothpaste, lip gloss, lip balsam and scrub cream. Rituals supports this move and is 100% behind this initiative. More importantly: several years ago, this was the reason why we embarked on a new route and sought alternatives in the form of natural scrub particles like Sea Salt, Sugar and Silica (a type of sand).
