You can make use of the menustructure on the top of the homepage by clicking on ‘Products’. You can also make use of the search option on top of the homepage on the right side or on the bottom. How do I place an order?
Place the selected product in your shopping basket by clicking on 'Add to basket'. If you would like to pay, go to the shopping cart on top of the page. There you can view your shopping cart. You can also remove or change the number of products in your shopping basket. Wish to add another product to your shopping basket? Click on 'continue shopping'.
Have you received a gift code? Enter this code under the shopping basket and click 'process'. The discount will be immediately deducted.
Sure about your order? Click on 'Checkout' and enter your particulars.

Can I return my order at all times?
You are entitled to return your order within 30 days. Your right to a refund lapses after 30 working days, after which the guarantee period comes into effect. When returning items, remember the following:
- For reasons of hygiene, cosmetic items (such as cream, make-up, lotion, gel, shampoo) may only be returned in unopened packaging
- Returns are only processed if the order – if reasonably possible – is returned undamaged, in the original packaging and in a sturdy box. We reserve the right to refuse products which have been damaged or which show signs of use, or to charge for the damage.
How do I return my order?
We want you to be completely happy with your products. So if you regret your purchase for whatever reason, you have the right to return or exchange the product within 30 working days.
We only accept items that are undamaged, unopened and in their original package.
Please contact our customerservice desk to receive information on how to return your order. Our customer service team will give you the return address and a unique ticketnumber. Can my order be delivered to another address?
Yes, that’s possible! During the purchasing process click on ‘Change address’ under ‘Personal details’. Here you can fill in the correct shipping information.
Will I receive an e-mail when I have placed an order?
You will receive an order confirmation and, depending on your payment method, a payment confirmation. As soon as your order has been packed and sent by our warehouse, you will receive an e-mail with a Track & Trace code, with which you can view the status of your order.
Are orders delivered with the same speed for each method of payment?
With all payment methods, delivery should be made within 48 hours. With payment by bank transfer and online direct debit, please note that shipping will take one or two additional workdays.

Can I spend my gift card online?
Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to redeem rituals gift cards online. We are working on being able to offer this service in the near future. Gift cards can only be redeemed in the Rituals stores (excluding department stores).
Are Rituals products natural?
In al the Rituals products we strive to use natural, renewable, and preferably organic ingredients, however - For what nature can’t provide - we use state-of-the-art technology and research.
Are Rituals products safe?
Absolutely we don't take any risks concerning the public's safety. Al the Rituals products and ingredients comply with the latest and the world's strictest international regulations (EU Cosmetics Directive 76/768/EEC) and are manufactured in accordance with GMP and al relevant national local regulations. Only ingredients that are safe and with a proven benefit and a sound environmental record are incorporated into Rituals products
What is Rituals environmental policy?
All our products comply with the world's highest quality standards and environmental regulations and we continuously strive the use of materials that are natural, renewable and not harmful to the environment. Rituals strive to reduce the use of packaging materials and -where possible- use biodegradable and recyclable materials.
Do Rituals products contain animal ingredients?
Rituals supports 'Proefdiervrij' , the Dutch Society for Replacement of Animal Testing. Proefdiervrij aims to abolish all experiments on animals in the Netherlands and promotes alternative methods of research. We believe there are enough safe and high-quality ingredients available which can be obtained without animal cruelty. Rituals will never test its products, or ingredients, on animals and demands the same high standards from all suppliers and other third parties it cooperates with.
Therefore, all Rituals products are suitable for vegetarians, and many of them are suitable for vegans too. For further details please consult the list of ingredients on the packaging.
Does Rituals test its products on animals?
Rituals is against animal testing and does not conduct or commission animal testing on any of it's products or ingredients within its products. It's the company's belief that sufficient high-performing, quality and safe ingredients are available without the need of testing on animals. Rituals insist upon al its suppliers and other companies contracted on its behalf to adhere to these standards.
Are Rituals products dermatologicaly tested?
Yes, all the products are put through tough safety testing which is carried out by independent laboratories under the strict ethical guidelines and on healthy human volunteers.
Do Rituals products contain plastic scrub particles?
There has been a lot of media attention recently about the opposition of organisations like Stichting de Noordzee and The Plastic Soup Foundation to the use of plastic scrub particles in standard care products like toothpaste, lip gloss, lip balsam and scrub cream. Rituals supports this move and is 100% behind this initiative. More importantly: several years ago, this was the reason why we embarked on a new route and sought alternatives in the form of natural scrub particles like Sea Salt, Sugar and Silica (a type of sand). Good news because we have now managed to incorporate these in 70% of our whole assortment of scrub products. Bestsellers like the Hand Therapy, Hammam Hot Scrub, Sakura Scrub & Himalaya Wisdom now only contain 100% natural scrub particles and this will obviously also apply to future launches.
Which Rituals products still contain plastic scrub particles?
The formulas of 4 of the approximately 400 products in our total assortment need to be adjusted. This concerns the following products:

• Yogi Secret foot scrub
• Wai Wang scrub cream
• Water Bar
Behind the scenes, we are working as hard as we can to ensure that the formulas of the last four products are adjusted as soon as possible. As soon as the new, adjusted formulas have passed our strict quality tests, the new products will be launched in our shops. We therefore expect to be able to announce that all our scrub formulas have been adjusted in the very near future.
Why did you once use plastic scrub particles?
Plastic scrub particles are safe for use in cosmetics and are also gentle on the skin. These are the main reasons why we used them in our scrubs. Fortunately, we have now found suitable natural alternatives.
Does Rituals have facial care products for different skin types?
Yes, the Advanced Botanical Skin Care offers the ultimate care for every type of skin. The assortment consists of 27 products. For each type of skin and lifestyle, a personal skin care formula can be created: Cleansing, Sensitive, Hydrating, Anti-aging and Anti-wrinkle
What will I find in the cleansing rituals?
Seven luxury products for deep cleansing and soothing the skin. With Lotus Flower extract to protect against pollution and Moringa Extract to nourish your skin and regulate the moisture balance. Soothing botanical extracts of Fu Ling and Aloe Vera smooth, soothe and protect the skin from external stress factors. Rice Oil regulates the moisture balance and nourishes the skin.
What will I find in the Sensitive rituals?
Four clinically tested products containing soothing botanical extracts of Fu Ling and Boswelia Serrata which provide immediate protection from external stress factors. The products reduce redness and irritation of the skin. Perfect for anyone with an oversensitive skin. Aloe Vera regenerates, nourishes and smooths, while UVA/UVB filtering extracts protect the skin from premature aging and pigmentation.
What will I find in the Hydrating rituals?
Six products which hydrate and protect the skin. With an active moisture regulating complex of Blue Ginger and Hyaluronic Acid that stimulates the body's own synthesis of Hyaluronic Acid whilst regulating the moisture balance of the skin. The natural antioxidant White Tea provides active protection of the cells by neutralising free radicals. Macadamia Oil has an intense moisture regulating and nourishing action, and the active peptide complex of the Refreshing Eye Lotion prevents puffiness and dark circles under the eyes.
What will I find in the Anti-aging rituals?
