Sometimes it can feel like everyone is a meditation guru, so popular has the practice become. And with good reason -  it’s scientifically proven that meditating has a positive effect on your body, mind, and soul. From controlling anxiety, promoting emotional health to enhanced self-awareness: the list of the good stuff is endless.

 

So if you’re yet to give it a go but don’t know where to start, then this accessible three minute meditation is exactly what you’re looking for. It guides you through the basics, starting with how to sit and where to place your hands, and is the perfect preparation as you practice finding your focus. Use it several times a week for a few weeks, and then when you feel ready, graduate to one of our longer moments of calm, such as this.
