Burn within sight. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Remove candle from box before burning. Place on stable heat-resistant surface. Keep out of drafts. Before each relighting, trim wick to 0,5cm/0,25 inch. Keep all objects, including matches and wick trimmings, out of the wax pool. Do not burn candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Allow to cool before each relighting. Discontinue burning a candle when 1 cm/0,5 inch of unmelted wax remains. The use of candles is strictly at one’s own risk. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury and/or property damage.
When lighting the candle for the first time, let it burn until the top layer has melted (± 3-4 hours). This results in an even burn.
