If you’re always stressed and anxious then, chances are, you have a low Heart Rate Variability (HRV). What’s HRV? Well, it is the measure of the health of your cardiovascular system, as well as the flexibility and robustness of your nervous system.
People with a high HRV have a nervous system that kicks in when needed but are able to rest easily. If anxiety is a constant companion for you then Coherent Breathing – breathing for 5-6 breaths per minute – could help. It has been shown to improve HRV levels in just minutes. Richard Tryon shows you how to do it.
