Embrace the power of the full moon with this renewing yoga flow

Harness the energy of the moon and cultivate a sense of stability with this nighttime flow.

If you lie awake in the middle of the night or dream restlessly, chances are high that it’s a full moon. As you probably know, the moon and its cycles can influence body and mind - from the quality of your sleep to the mood you are in. The energy of the full moon can (sometimes) cause agitation and inner disruption. But did you know you can cultivate a sense of stability and renewal with your yoga practice? Join Deborah on the mat and harmonise your practice with the lunar cycle, utilising the power of the full moon to your advantage.

This flow focuses on grounding body and mind, whilst helping to release tension and restlessness. By flowing through crescent lunges, utkatasana (chair pose) and the relaxing pigeon pose you open your hip flexors, and create the feeling of being grounded and steady. Whenever the full moon is high in the sky, use this flow to help you feel calm and collected.
