Sustainability

What is Rituals’ stance on sustainability?

Sustainability is paramount at Rituals. We are a Certified B Corporation™. This certificate means that for-profit companies use the power of business to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. They meet the high verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

Part of our sustainability efforts is our Net Zero commitment. We are exploring our path to Net Zero, reducing the intensity of our emissions by 50%, by 2030, reaching Net-Zero by 2050*. Learn more about our path here

Next to focusing on reduction, we decided to launch our 10% Profit Pledge, meaning that from 2025 onwards we commit to using 10% of our net profit of the previous year, to support causes that contribute to improving the wellbeing of people and planet. For example, Rituals chose to partner with Sacred Forests to help preserve The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, home to some of the world’s most lush and biodiverse rainforests on earth. Rituals has also committed to helping build the mental resilience of young children, partnering up with the Super Chill Foundation.

Read more about our 10% Profit Pledge here.

*Our near-term target climate commitment is a 50% GHG emissions intensity reduction by 2030, versus our 2021 figures.  Scope 3 emissions. This is a reduction per unit value added, meaning per euro of gross profit.
