A year of impact: achievements for people & planet in 2025

In 2025 our partners achieved remarkable milestones – supporting children, protecting forests and oceans, and strengthening communities worldwide.

At Rituals, we believe small routines can create meaningful change. In 2025, thanks to your support and our 10% Profit Pledge, we were able to use 10% of our net profit from 2024 to support our partners. They achieved incredible progress for children, caregivers, communities and the natural world, here’s what they accomplished this year.

Super Chill – your mind is your superpower

2025 has been a breakthrough year for Super Chill. With playful exercises and joyful tools, the foundation helped more children than ever before to stay focused and manage their emotions.

  • 588,000 children in the Netherlands now know Super Chill – almost half of all children in the country, up from 424,000 in 2024.
  • In just six months, more than 60,000 conversation starters were generated with the new digital chat cards, while the first 1,000 physical decks sold out immediately.
  • Parents and caregivers reported that Super Chill is making a clear difference: three quarters said it boosts children’s emotional intelligence, while nearly 80% said it helps children cope better with daily stress.

Rituals’ support is helping Super Chill expand to more languages and countries, ensuring that even more children can discover that their mind is their superpower.

War Child – because no child should be defined by war

This year, War Child proved that their programmes change lives, even in the most difficult circumstances.

  • A major Randomised Controlled Trial in Burundi confirmed that children taking part in TeamUp show better wellbeing, stronger friendships and reduced symptoms of depression than those in standard PE lessons. Results were even stronger for children who completed 24 sessions.
  • In South Sudan, War Child launched the first field trial of BeThere, supporting caregiver wellbeing alongside children’s recovery.
  • New large-scale partnerships were prepared with Save the Children, ChildFund, MSF and UNHCR – set to reach up to half a million children in the coming years.

With Rituals’ backing, War Child can continue to scale evidence-based methods that bring hope, connection and healing to children affected by war.

Blue Marine – protecting one ocean, together

In just six months, Blue Marine celebrated landmark conservation gains that will benefit generations to come.

  • At the UN Ocean Conference in Nice, France announced the world’s largest marine protected area – 1.1 million km² in French Polynesia – with more protection to follow. Blue Marine is part of the coalition advising the government.
  • Chile confirmed plans to expand protection of the Juan Fernández Islands by 330,000 km², taking the country to more than half of its waters under protection.
  • Curaçao announced its first offshore sanctuary of 9,128 km², designed with direct input from Blue Marine’s team.
  • Across the Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil, Greece and Indonesia, Blue Marine also advanced new community-led conservation, from whale hunters shifting to eco-tourism in St Vincent and the Grenadines to training rangers in Raja Ampat.

Rituals’ contribution is helping Blue Marine turn global commitments into real protection – keeping the world on track for the 30x30 target: safeguarding 30% of the ocean by 2030.

Sacred Forests – Indigenous wisdom for the future

In Colombia’s Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the Arhuaco People achieved historic milestones in 2025 with Sacred Forests.

  • More than 200,000 hectares and 100 million trees are being actively protected with drones, satellites and Indigenous Rangers.
  • By the end of this year, over 10,000 hectares of land will have been returned to Indigenous hands, alongside a donation of 800 hectares by the Colombian President – land secured for generations to come.
  • Women and youth from 22 communities created 360 home and community gardens, trained 400 people in regenerative practices and established over 100 hectares of agroforestry systems.
  • International recognition grew, with their first rewilding site winning the UNDP Equator Prize and a pioneering collaboration with the Colombian Ministry of Agriculture ensuring Indigenous territory can never be sold again.

With Rituals’ support, Sacred Forests and the Arhuaco People are showing the world that blending Indigenous wisdom with modern science is the path to true climate resilience.

Looking ahead

In 2025, our partners proved what is possible: hundreds of thousands of children supported to grow in confidence and resilience, vast stretches of ocean and rainforest secured for the future, and caregivers and communities given tools to heal and thrive.

Our role is small compared with their courage, creativity and persistence – yet together, we are creating a healthier, kinder world for people and planet.
