Ayurvedic moon milk for summer nights

A softly spiced moon milk made with oat milk and a touch of acai for a rosy tone – comforting, light, and ideal for late summer nights. Finished with rose petals, a natural source of polyphenols and flavonoids.

As the days get longer and evenings stay bright, winding down can take a little more time. That’s where moon milk comes in: a calming, lightly sweetened warm drink rooted in Ayurvedic tradition, typically enjoyed warm, just before sleep, when the moon is out. It’s usually milk, little sweetness, finished with spices that feel grounding rather than bold: cinnamon, star anise, nutmeg, vanilla.

This version uses oat milk and a hint of acai for a soft, rosy tone – comforting, but not heavy. It also includes rose petals, which contain bioactive compounds such as polyphenols and flavonoids, and clinical studies on rose aromatherapy have reported reduced anxiety scores and improved sleep quality.
