Got back pain? This gentle yoga flow could help

Designed to release tension from the spine and surrounding muscles, this sequence should leave you feeling relaxed.

Hooray! With so many requests for back relief, our yoga expert Deborah Quibell has designed this flow to release tight back muscles. The combination of variations on the well-known cat-cow pose, down dog, sphinx pose and reclining twists help to release tension from the spine and surrounding muscles.

When adding this flow to your weekly schedule your back gets stronger overtime, leaving you with better posture and less pain. And there’s more... We will also focus on general stress release because there is often a correlation between back pain and higher levels of held stress or tension in the body.

If you’re dealing with back pain, this yoga flow may be just what the doctor ordered. But remember, if the pain is too intense or long-lasting, please do visit your doctor for medical advice.

Feel like you want to give it a go? We invite you to roll out your mat, take a deep breath in and relieve yourself from uncomfortable back stiffness.
