Whether you’re spending the day sitting at a desk or just can’t get to the mat, try this easy yet effective chair yoga to stretch and move.
Chair yoga is a supportive and accessible version of traditional yoga. It draws on all the mindful principles of yoga – being in the moment, breathing with the moves – but you don’t need a yoga mat. So whether you want to break up a day spent at your desk or, for whatever reason, getting down on the floor is a bit of a stretch (pun intended), this chair yoga flow could be just the thing for you.
I will guide you through a series of moves to stretch your muscles, gently increase flexibility, and boost your circulation. Try to use a chair with arms for extra support and ideally one that is static (read: no wheels) so you’re not rolling around the room. Let’s get started!
