Restoring your balance with yoga

Yoga and Ayurveda are inextricably intertwined. Ayurveda is an Indian practice of life that focusses on the balance between body and soul. Yoga ensures that the body and soul stay connected. To fully embrace the Ayuverdic lifestyle, yoga becomes indispensable. Let our yoga expert, Laura, guide and show you which poses are the best for your specific dosha type.

Ayurveda beliefs state that each person consists of a unique combination of energies called the doshas. To keep your body and soul in balance, it’s important to understand which dosha type is most fitting to you. According to Ayurveda the three types are: Vata, Pitta or Kapha, and how this energy is divided throughout your body and soul differs per person. Curious which dosha type you are? Take the test and find out.

Most people are a combination of two dosha’s, meaning you can identify with two types of dosha. Each dosha has its own set of guidelines to help understand your body’s dietary needs, modes of relaxation and movement. Including the best asanas (yoga poses) and meditation techniques. Our yoga expert, Laura, can help you find the most useful exercises specific to your dosha type.
