Banana chocolate smoothie bowl with peanut butter

These kinds of frozen smoothies can be decadent, especially when you mix dark chocolate in them! By the way, did you know that pure cocoa is seen as a super food? Real, raw cocoa has an enormous amount of vitamins and minerals and therefore works as a strong antioxidant. So you can consider it a win when you enjoy one of these delicious smoothies in the morning!

Recipe for 2 people
Preparation time: 10 minutes


  • 2 frozen, ripe bananas, frozen in slices
  • 2 tbs raw cocoa
  • 1 tbs peanut butter
  • 250 ml almond milk
  • 50 g dark chocolate (at least 72% cocoa)
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • honey to taste


Remove the bananas from the freezer and let them sit out for 5 minutes to reach the right temperature. Then put all the ingredients in the blender and mix until it is a smooth consistency. If you want to be a bit thinner, add the almond milk. Add honey to taste.
